OCS J.V. Boys (Cooper, Connor, Carson, MinBo and Blake) need to be at the course by 9:00. Varsity Boys (Evan Fay, Caleb, Josh, Austin, Wyatt, Daniel and Joel) need to be at the course by 11:00. Varsity Girls (all girls) need to be at the course by 11:30.

Team Awards: Awards ceremony after results are posted at the award stand. Team trophies for 1st and 2nd place will be awarded for the varsity & junior high girls' races. Individual Awards: OSU Pistol Pete special design cast medals to top 40 in each of the 12 races. (Total 370 medals) I will not be at the meet. I have a prior family commitment and will be in Arkansas. Christy Tebow will be at the meet instead of me. If you have any questions about the meet call her at: 640-9483. I hope to have cell coverage so you can try and call me if you need to.

As a team the girls placed 11th out of 16 teams and the boys placed 13th out of 17 teams, 5A and under. There were about 115 runners in each race.

Bus on Friday for Norman Meet

There will be a bus taking runners to Norman Friday morning. But because Mr. Eckel (our bus driver) has to return to school to teach, there will NOT be a bus bringing runners home.

You will need to find transportation home.

The bus will leave school at 9:00. You are to go to class in the morning.

The 5th annual OK Runner Classic will be hosted by Norman High School and be held at the NHS Soccer Complex located directly behind Irving Middle School. There will be two high school divisions (5A/6A & 2A/3A/4A races) that will each have a varsity division and a junior varsity division, and there will be a junior high division as well. This will be the site of the Class 4A/5A/6A Regional

Directions: From the North: I-35 South merge left at the 1st Norman exit, US-77 S via exit 113 for about 3 miles. Turn left (East) on Robinson for 2.5 miles. Turn Right (South) on 24 Ave. NE. Drive 1 mile to Alameda. Continue (South) on 24 Ave. N.E for ¼ mile. The NHS Soccer/Softball/XC parking lot is on the right. From the South: EAST Highway 9 exit off of I-35 (108A) and travel East for 3.5 miles until you come to 24th Avenue, take a left (North) for 2 miles. The NHS Soccer complex will be on your left (west side of 24th) where you will have plenty of room to park buses.

Awards: Team plaques will be awarded to first and second place teams in Varsity Divisions. Medals will be awarded to the top 15 individual finishers in each race.
