Regionals Results

Our girls team placed 5th and advanced to the state meet. We had two girls that medaled, Ashlyn Rawls (6th) and Katie Qualls (13th). The girls all had great races, they fought hard. Kaityn, Jordan and Elyse passed several people on the last leg of the race which we needed in order to advance to state. Like I have always said, the 4th and 5th place runners are the most important on a team. Way to go girls!

Our boys team placed 7th at regionals which does not qualify them, but I was very happy with the times and the races they ran. Jon Dubois qualified individually for the state meet. And Daniel Smith ran a personal best time, which I have never in 4 years seen anyone do at this meet. Chisholm is a very tough course. I am proud of the way we represented our school.

Girls:
Ashlyn Rawls 13:34 (6th)
Kaite Qualls 14:13 (13th)
Chandler Hargrove 15:26

OBU Cancelled

The OBU coach says that the meet will not be cancelled unless there is lightening. My fear, after looking at the radar and even getting a flight briefing, is that we get all the way down there and they cancel it. So, I have made an executive decision to cancel the meet.
