Change It Up

Want to change up a workout or two? Do this......

60 seconds of situps
60 seconds of squats
60 seconds jump rope
60 seconds of rest

Do this 4 times....and keep track of how many reps you can do in each of the 60 seconds. Let me know.

CrossFit

If you are interested in something different than just working on your mileage, here is what I've been doing.....www.crossfit405.com.

I know there are several football players that are going to start going to these classes, but they are available to cross country runners too. OCS has a class time on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings. Guys and girls are both welcome. Let me know if you are interested.

Your strength to weight ratio is what is going to make you a better runner. So work hard to get stronger this summer so that come race time it will pay off.
