End of Season Dinner - **UPDATE**

The dinner will be moved to the Smith’s house. They live in Thornbrooke Addition. The actual address is 1908 Cambridge Way, Edmond, OK 73013. Ann’s number is 388-6727 for questions.

STATE!!! Oct. 22

We will not be taking a bus on Saturday to State. If you are able to transport up to 6 athletes in your car will you please email or text me and let me know. (carliewellington@hotmail.com) (405-274-1887) They will need to leave OCS no later than 10a.

The team will be eating at Othello's at 6p Friday evening.

The race is at Gordon Cooper Vo-tech. Girls race at 12 and Boys race at 12:45.

Mandatory Coaches meeting is at 10:45am.

If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Don't forget admission into state is $5 for each person.

Pre State Practice Week

Monday - Long run 3:30p @ Mardels on 33rd and Blvd. Pick up 4:30-4:45
Tuesday - 5:50am @OC Track
Wednesday - 3:15 @ OCS pickup 4:15
Thursday - 5:50a - morning run. Meet at Panera.
Friday - TBA

XC Regionals

We will be riding as a team to regionals this Saturday October 15. The bus will leave the school no later than 9:15. Please arrive to OCS at 9am. We will meet in front of the Student Center.

Girls run at 12p
Boys run at 12:45p

Bus will be available to bring students back to OCS.

Pasta Dinner - Pre Regionals

Regionals - Oct. 15

Regional Assignment - Chisholm. 12p Girls Race / 12:45 Boys Race

Teams at our Region: ASTEC, Chandler, Chisholm, Crooked Oak, Dove, Harding Fine Arts, Jones, Kingfisher, Luther, Millwood, Newkirk, OBA, OK Centennial, Perry, Perkins-Tyron, Prague

* It is required that we are there one hour prior to the girls race. We will likely leave OCS on a bus by 9:30am.



State Qualifiers
Classes 2A & 3A the top five (5) teams and the top 5 (five) individuals not on a qualifying team from each regional will qualify
for state.
In 4A, 5A & 6A the top seven (7) teams and the top seven (7) individuals not on a qualifying team from each regional will qualify
for state. Teams shall be seeded for the state meet based on regional results. Preferred starting positions shall be the middle of the
starting line, working outward. All individual qualifiers shall be assigned to that outside position. If a regional does not have (5)
teams in 2A & 3A and (7) teams in 4A, 5A & 6A the other regional will qualify additional (teams) in order of placement to equal
(15) teams for 2A & 3A and (14) teams for 4A, 5A, & 6A to the state cross country meet. In 2A-3A if one of the three regional
meets does not have a minimum of five teams qualify for the state meet, the 6th place team from the other two regionals will both
qualify.

Practice Schedule Week of 10/10- 10/14

Monday - OCS 3:15 - 4:30
Tuesday - At OC - running campus. Meet in parking lot at 3:30 - Pick up by 4:30
Wednesday - OCS 3:15 - 4:15
Thursday - OCS pick up 4:15p
Friday - OCS Pick up 3:45

OBU XC Meet Thurs. October 6th

Tomorrow we will be leaving from OCS at 4p to compete at the OBU XC Meet. You may want to bring money for dinner as we will most likely stop and grab something after the meet. Julie Hargrove and Ann Smith have volunteered to drive. Each can hold 6 atheltes in their vehicles.
Please meet in front of the Student Center.

We should return no later than 9p.

If you have not attended practice this week you will not be attending the meet tomorrow. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

OBU XC Meet Thurs. October 6th

Parents: If you plan on attending the XC meet at OBU on Thursday evening can you please email me: carliewellington@hotmail.com. Only HS will be attending and we have 13 runners (at the most) and 2 coaches. If you are able to help transport there and back please let me know. (leaving OCS at 4p and returning students to school after the race is complete.

Tuesday October 4th

Due to early dismal practice will be at Hafer Park tomorrow at 1:15 (no later than 1:30). Please pick up no later than 2:15. We will be running an easy 3 - 4 miles.
